Panzerkampfwagen VI «Tiger I»

It is the first heavy tank of Wehrmacht which was produced in the large quantities. It was produced by «Henschel» and «Weggman» plants from September 1942 to August 1944. The first 495 tanks were fitted with the equipment which allowed them to overcome the water obstacles up to a depth of 4 m. The last 800 tanks had the road wheels with the internal shock absorption. Starting with the 251st machine, the Мауbach HL 230 engine was installed.

Panzerkampfwagen 6B «Tiger II»

It is the most powerful German heavy tank which participated in World War II. It was produced by Henschel and Wegmann companies from October 1943 to March 1945. The first 50 tanks had the «Porsche» tank turret design with 107 mm frontal armor and the equipment for underwater driving. The later machines featured the «Henschel » tank turrets.
